Last year I helped Shape Magazine for this educational content about the common ways of tying your shoelaces. Interestingly this was an impromptu content creation filmed with one take via a handphone in my ex-company's retail store while we were having another marketing event. With the strong database of Shape Magazine, I'm really glad to be part of a 612,000 viewed content and encouraging comments.
Anyway, these are some minor modification tips (disclaimer: I didn't invent them) you may want to consider for your shoes. In fact, most of my shoes might have different lace methods since not all shoes have the same design and construction so do keep the fitting options dynamic; end of the day 'comfort' is the most important. A good and appropriate shoe fitting may not guarantee a personal best but at least a comfortable fit will make you worry-less about blistering or chafing issues, indirectly allow you to stay focus to perform at your best effort.
Nice to archive some of my old contributions and please share and "like" if you find these material useful. #backkickers
